First off, we will discuss reading the grain and deciding what type of bowl can be made from a given log. Chainsawing will be reviewed but not actually demonstrated. The demo will cover mounting the cut blank, tools used, and cutting techniques, and design options. We’ll finish up with a discussion on the end product, a roughed out blank or a finished product.
